MaxVolts Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 20, 2026

Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how MaxPoints LLC, doing business as MaxPoints (“MaxPoints,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles personal information when you use MaxVolts, including container deployments, application hosting, infrastructure connections, domains and HTTPS configuration, and cloud worker resources.

Information we collect

  • Account information, such as your name, email address, and sign-in details, including information received when you sign in with a MaxAuth account.
  • Session information, such as a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in.
  • Deployment and project information, such as container image names, configuration, environment settings and secrets you provide, domains, and project activity.
  • Connected provider information, such as authorization tokens and resource details from cloud providers (for example Linode) and code hosts (for example GitHub) that you choose to connect.
  • Billing and plan information related to your accepted order. Payment card details are handled by our payment processors and are not stored by MaxVolts.
  • Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, request logs, and error and health-check data.
  • Communications you send us, such as support requests.

How we use information

We use information to provide and operate the Services, authenticate you, deploy and route your workloads, carry out infrastructure actions you request, process orders, provide support, monitor performance, detect and prevent abuse and security threats, maintain the Services, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your hosted applications for advertising.

Cookies

We use a session cookie that is necessary to keep you signed in and to protect your account. We do not use it for advertising. You can block cookies in your browser, but signed-in parts of the Services will not work without it.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the Services: with MaxAuth and other participating MaxNova services when you use a shared account; with infrastructure and hosting providers such as Linode that run your workloads; with GitHub and other providers you connect, according to the permissions you grant; with payment processors and other service providers acting on our behalf; with professional advisers; and with authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security. If MaxPoints is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Third-party providers handle information under their own privacy policies. Only connect accounts you are authorized to use.

Your hosted data

Data that your own applications collect from your users is your responsibility. You are the controller of that data, and we process it only to host and secure your workloads and follow your instructions. You must provide any notices and obtain any consents your users are owed.

Retention

We keep information for as long as your account or hosting plan is active and as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, and security requirements. After hosting ends, project data and resources may be removed under your plan and our retention practices. Export what you need beforehand.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your credentials and promptly report unauthorized activity.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or object to or restrict certain uses, subject to applicable law and exceptions. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to appeal a decision or lodge a complaint with a regulator. You can disconnect providers at any time in the provider’s settings. To make a request, contact us at the address below; we may need to verify your identity first.

Children

The Services are intended for adults 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

International use

MaxVolts is operated from the United States. Your information may be processed and stored in the United States or in other locations where our providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Services or legal requirements change. We will revise the last-updated date and give notice of material changes before they take effect where required by law.
